Waffles, Waffles, Waffles

When a kid asks for waffles, you have to do the only logical thing - make a million of them. We now have a freezer full of waffles and we are ready to go for quick breakfasts!
I absolutely love this recipe that I adapted from here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/simple-waffles-from-scratch-recipe.html

Here's the recipe:

6 tablespoons butter
3 cups flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
4 tablespoons sugar
3 cups skim milk
4 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1-1/2 cups frozen blueberries

Preheat waffle iron, duh. Melt butter in microwave. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and sugar. In another bowl, beat together milk, vanilla, and eggs. Whisk liquid mixture into dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in melted butter and blueberries. Brush hot waffle iron with butter. Spoon about 3/4 cup of batter onto iron and close to cook. Cook waffle until golden brown. Mangia!
